يعتقد الكثير من الرياضيين بأنه لا يوجد رابط بين السياسة والرياضة، وبمعنى أخر أن جميع القرارات الأخيرة هي قرارات متعوب عليها وهي قرارات لا تنبع إلا من واحد متمرس وذو حظ كبير من العلم والمعرفة. وربما أيضا لا يعلم هؤلاء بطريقة ما بأنه ليس هناك إجتهادات فردية من قبل أي شخص. من يدير الرياضة وأهل الرياضة والمتابعين والمنتمين إليها ليسوا في الواجهة، بل هم في الحقيقة في الخفاء وهم من يخطط ويعمل بخطة موضوعة لهم سابقا. مجلس أعلى يتحكم بكل شيء، أجبر على مشاركة المرأة من دول العالم أجمع، وأخرج بن همام. فمن الغلبة للرياضة أم للسياسة.
